Our Story
Salty Heifer Candle Co was founded in October 2022 by Christy — a mom, grandma, ranch girl, and breast cancer survivor who was tired of burning candles filled with toxins. As an asthma sufferer, she did extensive research to find the cleanest-burning ingredients possible. Every candle is crafted with care, free from black smoke and harmful chemicals. The name? Christy grew up on her family's ranch and had her own livestock — "Salty Heifer" felt just right. Clean candles, real roots.

I found these candles at the Woodland Park Farmers Market last week. They are just amazing. The smell is not too strong but fills the room, the crackling wood wick is awesome as well. They burn so perfectly. I will definitely be buying more of these for myself and to gift to others.
These candles are excellent - they last long, the scent is amazing, and I love the wood wick that crackles! Plus, they are soy and coconut wax so I feel good knowing that they are healthier & safe to burn in my home. We buy them all the way from Chattanooga :)

Just received my second order from SaltyHeifer and am very pleased. I have a lot of allergies and have to be careful when ordering items with aromas. I am loving scents I chose they are not too strong and burn so nicely. I also purchased some of the unscented soaps: they lather so nicely and my skin doesn't feel dry after using. I will come back for more when my supply dwindles!

I prefer to burn clean candles in my home. It is hard to find clean burning candles. This candle I purchased, smells AWESOME! HIGHLY recommend.
I absolutely love the chocolate candle, makes my whole house smell wonderful!! Very warm, relaxing and comforting with the crackling wick at night! Well definitely buy more!
